Maria Isabel Isern (Mary Isern) is a Venezuelan-born creative director, event producer and hospitality strategist based in Weston, Florida. Known for her calm leadership and elevated aesthetic, she blends design, logistics, culinary storytelling and technology into experiences that feel effortless and unforgettable.
Mary graduated in Business Administration from Universidad Metropolitana (Unimet), Venezuela, in 2016, a foundation that deeply shaped her approach to operations, service workflows and team management. For her, events are not simply productions — they are human experiences built with intention, clarity, beauty and hospitality.
In 2021, Mary co-founded and scaled VNV Events LLC in Weston, Florida — today recognized as one of South Florida’s most trusted boutique event production companies and part of the top 10% of event companies in the U.S. by volume and operational growth. Under her leadership as Founder & Creative Director, VNV produces 100+ events per year and activates a robust ecosystem of venues, chefs, florists, entertainers and suppliers.
Alongside her husband and business partner, Jonathan Moreno, Mary also co-created E-Planner Hub, an event-tech platform designed to help planners, caterers and venues operate with more structure and less stress — a tool born directly from their real-life experience running events at scale.
Mary’s story is not just about beautiful events — it’s about building an ecosystem: a boutique agency, a software platform and a content studio that all work together to strengthen the events community from the inside out.
Mary completes her degree in Business Administration at Universidad Metropolitana (Unimet) in Caracas, Venezuela, with a strong focus on management, service operations and organizational strategy.
Mary begins consulting hospitality and creative brands across South Florida and LATAM, helping them refine their storytelling, guest experience and internal processes. This work becomes the seed for her future event design and event-tech projects.
Together with Jonathan, Mary launches VNV Events, a multi-service event company in Weston, FL. In just a few years, VNV scales into the top 10% of event companies in the United States, producing weddings, social events and corporate experiences.
Through high-volume operations, Mary refines systems for training, vendor coordination, culinary experiences and guest care — building checklists, standards and workflows that now support both her teams and her clients.
After seeing the same operational challenges repeat across the industry, Mary and Jonathan design E-Planner Hub, a software platform to help planners, caterers and venues manage tasks, leads, contracts and team communication in one place.
To support creators and small businesses, they launch VNV Studio — a multimedia space for podcasts, speaking content and educational videos, connecting brand storytelling with real operations.

This is what inspired us to build E-Planner Hub: a platform created to help professionals stay organized, protect their revenue, streamline communication and grow sustainably. What began as an internal solution for our own agency evolved into a system now used by other planners, caterers and venues.
My goal is simple: to make the events industry stronger from the inside out — giving small businesses the structure, clarity and technology they need to thrive, create jobs, serve their clients better, and avoid the operational challenges that have held so many back.
Whether I’m planning a wedding, styling a private dinner, or improving a workflow in the platform, my work is driven by the same purpose: helping people build memorable experiences with systems that support them, not stress them.
With E-Planner Hub, we coordinate tasks, manage inventory, track leads and streamline client communication — all in one place. What started as an internal tool for VNV Events has grown into a platform we now license to other event professionals.
